Our Projects

At the Heartland School Security Association, each project represents a partnership with a school community committed to keeping its students safe. We provide hands-on assessments, practical recommendations, and connections to trusted vendors and law enforcement agencies to help schools strengthen security without adding unnecessary cost or complexity. Whether it is a small rural district or a large private campus, our goal remains the same: to make effective, sustainable school safety accessible to every community.

St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic School

HSSA completed a full physical and operational security review of the school, evaluating perimeter controls, access management, communication systems, emergency procedures, and visitor protocols. Beyond the assessment itself, we assisted school leadership by coordinating vendor quotes for recommended upgrades to ensure competitive pricing and trustworthy service.

We also engaged directly with the Omaha Police Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office to strengthen coordination between the school and local law enforcement, ensuring faster response times and clearer communication protocols during emergencies.
